About APCSD Excellence Awards 

The Asia Pacific Conference on Sustainable Development Excellence Awards are a platform that celebrates excellence in business and education. Pioneers in business and education have the opportunity to showcase their success and strides made by them in their career through this international platform. Eminent decision makers, leaders and industry experts from academia, higher education institutions, startups and corporates may nominate themselves or their peers to be recognized and honored for their valuable contribution in their chosen field. These nominations will then be reviewed by the Jury Members of APCSD Excellence Awards who will make their recommendations, to be approved by the Executive Committee.

The winners of APCSD Excellence Awards get the following:

• A certificate
• A letter from the Jury recounting the achievements
• A mention of your name and award received on a dedicated webpage

Nomination

Nomination Process

To be considered, nominations must be complete with all the relevant details and documents. These may be submitted by an organisation or an individual. This process will only be online and incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.

Eligibility Criteria for Awardees

To be eligible, nominees must meet the following criteria

1. The nominee must be from a reputed academic institution or organisation.
2. Nominees must be able to provide proof of their leadership in project management, research, consultancy, grant applications and success in collaborating with other organisations.
3. Nominees must highlight any professional achievement / skill that they believe will make them stand out.
4. Nominees will be evaluated on a host of parameters including social impact of their work, leadership roles, long term potential, professional experience and success in their given field.
5. Contributions made directly or indirectly to business management and academics that have led to significant developments in that field are not essential, but preferred.

Evaluation Process

The evaluation process will consist of three rounds:

Round One

Applications received for APCSD Excellence Awards will be sifted and carefully evaluated by the Jury Members. During this stage all the documents submitted will be verified and incomplete applications will be rejected. Short listed candidates will then proceed to the next round.

Round Two

Shortlisted candidates from Round One will proceed to this stage for a further round of screening. In this stage, the application form and supporting documents will be evaluated by the Jury Members. The Jury Members will then make their final recommendations to the Executive Committee.

Round Three

Based on the Committee’s recommendation, category wise winners will be selected. The winners will be notified via email and will be invited to receive their award at the Asia Pacific Conference on Sustainable Development.

Fees and Event Registration

To offset the cost of organising and managing the APCSD Excellence Awards segment at the Asia Pacific Conference on Sustainable Development, we will require the winners to pay a fee of USD 250 after they have been notified of winning. Additionally, we require all award winners to register as an attendee at the conference. The registration fees are summarised below.
